Because I can.
Because I want to.
Because for at least 50 years, I (and society and Instagram and the patriarchy) said I couldn’t or shouldn’t.
Enough.
Enough deprivation.
Enough equating my worth with my weight.
Enough playing by rules I never agreed to but internalized as gospel.
Enough. Time to rip up the rule book and start fresh. Start true.
Now, most days, I quietly savor a handful of roasted almonds and a square of Endangered Species Dark Chocolate. Because I’ve given myself full permission to eat it, a single square of chocolate feels just right.
How deliciously rebellious it feels to share this!
But I am.
So dear reader, tell me:
- What rule are you following that may no longer be serving you?
- What new rule or ritual might you replace it with – even for a bit?
